Faculty Challenge Grants support the development of promising and groundbreaking research that fosters the health, development, and wellbeing of people and communities around the world.

The Professional Development Fund seeks to enhance the school’s intellectual life by supporting faculty activities that advance the school's research mission and enhance the competitiveness of an upcoming proposal.

The Griffiths Award, open to all full-time faculty, recognizes faculty members for their research in advancing their fields of knowledge and professional practice.

The Carras award for promising young scholars is given to a member of the faculty who is in the first or second year of a pre-tenure appointment.

The Teaching Excellence Award is given to full-time Steinhardt faculty members who demonstrate teaching excellence.
