Summer Abroad

Graduate Study Abroad Opportunities

NYU Steinhardt offers a variety of short-term, credit-bearing study abroad opportunities throughout the summer. Participants immerse themselves in a new context, culture, and academic perspective.

These intensive summer study abroad courses are immersive, credit-bearing experiences and offer students the opportunity to add an intercultural perspective to their graduate degree. Courses are open to graduate students at all NYU schools and most are open to senior-level undergraduates with permission of the instructor. Non NYU graduate students and professionals holding a bachelor's degree or higher are also welcome to apply.

The 2023-2024 study abroad application is now closed. The Summer 2025 program offerings will be added to our website starting in the Fall of 2024, and applications will open in December 2024.
