The New York State Education Department (NYSED) has created safety nets for certain certification exams. Please see NYSED safety net page for more information.
EAS
The NYSED has identified a safety net passing score of 500 that is in effect until the revised EAS is operational. If you have scored a 500 or higher on the EAS while the safety net is in effect, you are considered to have passed the exam, and do not need to re-take it.
