At the NYU Steinhardt Screen Scoring program, we are dedicated to creating a generation of composers that thrive in all aspects of the modern media scoring industry. We offer four exciting back-to-back summer workshops in film, television, videogame, and advertising, all in the epicenter of the global music and film industries, New York City.

    NYU/BMI TV Scoring Workshop

    Learn how to be creative with limited resources, interface with key players of post production teams, and successfully deliver in high-pressure situations.

    NYU Film Scoring Workshop

    Record and mix your music with top industry professionals.

    NYU/BMI Scoring for Advertising Workshop

    Learn to write music for advertising quickly and efficiently, under real-world conditions.

    NYU Scoring for Videogames Workshop

    Engage with the aesthetic and technical aspects of composing music for videogames.
