In accordance with the latest NYU Coronavirus policy, Weekend Intensives will take place over video conference until further notice. Participants will receive advanced training in orthopedic practice in real-time over Zoom, with sessions incorporating live demonstrations of course concepts using models.
NYU PT's innovative Weekend Intensives provide advanced training in orthopedic practice to physical therapists in an immersive Friday through Saturday two-day format focused on advanced examination and intervention skills of the musculoskeletal system.

- Weekend Intensives are open to licensed physical therapists.
- NYS licensed occupational therapists may register for Modules 1, 2, 4, and 10. (OTs are not eligible for NYS continuing education credits.)
- Seating is limited to 30. (The reservation deadline is one week before each module.)
- Participants may register for one or more modules at a time.

NYU is an eligible sponsor of the mandatory continuing education hours for licensed physical therapists required by the New York State Education Department.

Graduate credit is also available through the 12-month Clinical Residency Advanced Certificate Program in Orthopedic Physical Therapy, which prepares students for the APTA Clinical Specialist Exam. Participants who wish to receive graduate credit must complete all four modules with additional assignments.
