Since 1989, the Department of Applied Psychology has been home to some of the best minds and boldest thinking in the fields of psychology and counseling. Applied Psychology aspires to create a world where social inequities are eradicated through the integration of psychological science, human development, and interdisciplinary research. Our vision aims to cultivate a vibrant, inclusive community of scholars, practitioners, and students who are not just dedicated to advancing social justice and equity but are also actively involved in co-creating and implementing evidence-based strategies that drive systemic change.
