- EdTPA Portfolio - English as an Additional Language (EAL)
- Educating All Students Test (EAS)
- Content Specialty Test in English to Speakers of Other Languages
Additional New York State requirements for TESOL certification:
- GRE scores
- Liberal arts major or 30 semester hours in a single liberal arts concentration
- 3 semester hours of mathematics (including statistics)
- 3 semester hours of natural or physical sciences
- 3 semester hours of social studies
- 12 semester hours of a language other than English
