Freshman Year
Fall Semester
- Begin core curriculum course work in the MCC major.
Spring Semester
- Attend the Global Media Scholars (GMS) information session.
- Complete core curriculum course work in the MCC major.
- Apply to GMS by the August 1 deadline.
- Consider your global scholarship options.
Sophomore Year
Fall Semester
- Apply to NYU Study Abroad (Paris or Prague for spring and Buenos Aires or Shanghai for fall) by the application deadline.
- Attend the Global Media Scholars orientation.
- Begin course work in the Global Communication and Media area of study.
Spring Semester
- Spend semester abroad at NYU Paris or NYU Prague.
- Enroll in MCC's Global Media Seminar along with other MCC courses abroad by advisement.
Junior Year
Fall Semester
- Spend semester at NYU Buenos Aires or NYU Shanghai.
- Enroll in MCC's Global Media Seminar along with other MCC courses abroad by advisement.
Senior Year
- Enroll in a special Senior Media Seminar capstone course offered in the fall semester of senior year, followed by travel to an NYU campus in the global network over the January winter session.
