The application for January and Spring 2027 programs is now available! Contact steinhardt.global@nyu.edu with any questions.

Spend January or Spring Break exploring new cultures, contexts, and academic and professional perspectives through NYU Steinhardt’s intensive, credit-bearing short-term programs.

Our experiential courses immerse you in dynamic intercultural settings designed to broaden your horizons while you earn credits toward your degree. Travel alongside expert faculty and NYU peers, backed by comprehensive visa, safety, and on-the-ground logistical support.

These programs are open to NYU graduate students, and most are also open to undergraduates with Senior standing (96+ earned credits), non-NYU graduate students, and professionals. Steinhardt students are eligible to apply for a Global Need-Based Scholarship to support their participation.
