“Creating Change: Moving Toward Equity, Justice, and Anti-Racism in the New Jersey Arts Community,” a two-day virtual gathering, was built around reflecting, healing, and learning as the communities work toward a more equitable, just, and anti-racist arts and cultural sector.

Professor Walker-Kuhne interviewed Dr. Voss whose latest research examines community-based performing arts organizations that primarily serve Black, Indigenous, Hispanic/Latinx, Arab American, or Asian American communities.

The Music Inclusion Coalition that Segura-Barpal co-founded strives to make the study of music more accessible and inclusive as students move from high school to the collegiate level.
