NYU provides extensive financial support to make study abroad possible for all students. In order to fund your international study, there are also a range of external scholarships for which you can apply.
NYU Scholarships and Aid
All admitted undergraduate students applying for financial aid to study abroad are automatically evaluated for an additional need-based award. The Global Pathways Scholarship provides up to $4,000 per semester (depending on demonstrated need) to cover the additional costs of international study. Students will receive an award notification beginning in June (for Fall semester) and in November (for Spring semester). You must follow the regular Office of Financial Aid process for applying for need-based aid.
Non-NYU Scholarships and Aid
Note that the Office of Global Affairs does not administer all of these scholarships. For more information, please contact each organization directly. Students might also consider alternative fund-raising sites like myTab. Grant Space, a service of the Foundation Center, also offers additional information for securing educational funding.
