Research Description/Bio: 

Christina Seowoo Lee, Ed.M., is a doctoral fellow in the Counseling Psychology program in the Department of Applied Psychology at New York University. Her research examines risk and resilience in racial/ethnic minorities and immigrants, with a particular focus on suicide-related outcomes. Through her research, she hopes to inform and develop prevention and intervention strategies for underserved populations. Christina has published in several peer-reviewed journals including Cultural Diversity and Ethnic Minority Psychology, American Journal of Orthopsychiatry, and Journal of Clinical Psychology. Prior to attending NYU, Christina obtained her B.A. in Psychology from Wellesley College and her Masters degree in Prevention Science and Practice from Harvard University with a concentration in Adolescent Counseling.
