Research Description: Khadija Abdous is a doctoral student in the International Education program. Her research centers around privatization of education in Morocco and how it affects the quality of public education provision and education reform in the country. She received a Fulbright scholarship to study for her Master’s degree in International Education at New York University and has a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Hassan II University. 

Prior to coming to NYU, Khadija participated in different teacher exchange programs in Morocco and the US. She taught English for two years at SIST British University and for seven years at various public high schools in Morocco. While at NYU, Khadija has served as a teaching assistant for the Introduction to Global Education course.
