Research description/bio: Fabian Barch is an eighth-year doctoral student in the Sociology of Education program. His research focuses on issues of inequality related to race, geography, wealth, and educational opportunity. His dissertation explores the relationship between student houselessness and learning outcomes.

Fabian earned his BA in Education Studies and French, with a minor in Psychological and Brain Sciences from Washington University in St. Louis in 2016. He is passionate about promoting access to educational opportunities and high-quality schooling for all students.
