Ted Sperling, renowned Broadway musical director, will lead a select group of students in an intensive training seminar devoted to the art of musical direction for theatre. High priority will be devoted to conducting technique through daily masterclasses, both with the baton and without, to instill confidence leading an orchestra and cast. The art of collaboration will be explored with guest artists. Opportunities to conduct a Broadway-style orchestra will be provided.
