As summer students on campus, MPAP Summer Program students have access to many of NYU’s resources and services.
Bobst Library
70 Washington Square South
Bobst Library houses more than 3.7 million volumes, several special collections, the Avery Fisher Center for Music and Media, and over 25,000 seats for study and computing.
Student Health Center (SHC)
726 Broadway, 3rd and 4th Floors
The Student Health Center (SHC) provides students with urgent care in case of illness or injury. The Student Health Center is available to all students, but its services may not be covered by a student’s private insurance. Only international students are enrolled in NYU Student Health Insurance as a requirement of their visa. All other students must have health insurance that meets a minimum threshold of coverage in New York City . All students are encouraged to carry their health insurance cards at all times in case of an emergency.
Wellness Exchange
The Wellness Exchange is available 24/7, and it puts students in touch with professionals who can help you address day-to-day challenges and questions, as well as any crises you may encounter including depression, stress, and anxiety.
Public Safety
561 LaGuardia Place
Public Safety provides emergency help and information 24 hours a day. If you need assistance, call the helpline listed above or ask a guard. Guards are posted in most NYU buildings and patrol the campus area. University buildings with green lights outside the main entrance have guards on duty 24 hours a day, and emergency call boxes are located throughout campus. Public Safety also manages the University’s lost and found.

We want all students to be safe while traveling around the city. Basic safety tips are available on the NYU Public Safety website. All students are encouraged to read this information prior to their arrival.
Moses Center for Students with Disabilities
726 Broadway, 2nd Floor
Students in need of support due to any kind of special need are encouraged to contact the Moses Center to register with that office prior to the start of the program . The Moses Center determines a student’s qualified disability status and assists the student in obtaining appropriate accommodations and services.
Office of Global Services
383 Lafayette Street.
The Office of Global Services (OGS) provides specialized support to NYU’s international students including immigration advising and guidance, reporting arrivals on campus, and more.
NYU Bookstore & Computer Store
726 Broadway
The Bookstore is a great place to purchase NYU gear, souvenirs, and supplies.
NYUCard Center
7 Washington Place
All students must have an NYUCard. It grants you access to NYU buildings, resources, and services. Your NYUCard is also your meal plan card and can be used as a debit card on campus with Campus Cash.
Information Technology Services (IT)
10 Astor Place, 4th Floor
IT is NYU’s central office for technology services such as computer services, Internet resources and access, and telephone services. Contact IT if you ever have trouble with a computer or Internet connection, have questions about NYUHome access, or are looking for the nearest computer lab.
Athletic Facilities
Palladium Athletic Facility: 140 East 14th Street
404 Fitness: 404 Lafayette Street
Gyms are available free to all students living on campus who are 16 or older. The facilities include cardio and weight equipment, pools, squash courts, and rock climbing walls.
