Portrait of Cristina Sacco sitting on a park bench.

I chose Math Education at NYU because it was the perfect place for me in terms of what I wanted from a program and because of the small cohort size. Student teaching was one of my favorite parts of the program. It was hands-on and completely aligned with what I wanted to do. The field placements were very individualized to what we needed as teachers. NYU taught me so many things about collaboration, pedagogy, and the resources I have as an educator.
