The MA in Pathokinesiology provided me with the necessary tools for conducting independent research in human movement biomechanics and satisfied the requirements for admission to a PhD in Biomechanics at ETH Zurich in Switzerland, which I completed in 2016. Since graduating, I've developed and validated the first musculoskeletal full-body models including a detailed thoracolumbar spine for children and adolescents aged 6-18 years. These models will provide an important basis for future investigations on pediatric spinal pathologies.
