- Co-authored "Efficacy of the Stroll Safe outdoor falls prevention program: A randomized controlled trial" in The Gerontologist, gnac145. Early Online
- Authored "Implementation in action: Developing implementation strategies for an evidence-based prevention program" in Translational Behavioral Medicine, Early online.
- Received a NYSOTA Certificate of Recognition.
- Presented two posters, "Words Matter: Strategies for Teaching Non-Stigmatizing and Non-Oppressive Clinical Documentation" and "Incorporating a Strength-Based Approach to Clinical Supervision: Key Principles and Strategies" at the 2023 AOTA Inspire Conference.
- Received a Museum Association of New York Award of Distinction, for “Making History Accessible: Toolkit for Multisensory Interpretation.” This award was in collaboration with OT faculty member Dr. Anita Perr and The Intrepid Air, Sea, and Space Museum. It was part of a larger research project focusing on accessible interpretation in historic sites and museums.
- Co-Authored "Tangible Progress: Tools, Techniques, and Impacts of Teaching Web Development to Screen Reader Users" published in Transactions on Accessible Computing. In this article, we describe our design, implementation, and evaluation of a nine-week web development workshop, designed to introduce screen reader users to HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. This publication was part of Claire Kearney-Volpe's dissertation research in the NYU Rehabilitation Science PhD program.

- Co-Authored “The Impact of Complementary and Integrative Medicine Following Traumatic Brain Injury: A Scoping Review” in Journal of Head Trauma Rehabilitation.
- Co-Presented the conference symposium, A., Mortera, M. H., Melvin, J., Wen, P. (2022, November). American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine 99th Annual Conference, Progress in Rehabilitation Research (PIRR). Measurement ISIG Standards Task Force: Towards valid validity statements: A proposed framework for rehabilitation practice, research, and education at the 2022 American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine annual conference (ACRM).
- Awarded an NYU Center for the Humanities grant to fund their Steinhardt Decolonizing the Arts and Humanities project. The project will involve convening an interdisciplinary group and creating a shared space where faculty, students, and practitioners from across Steinhardt and beyond will explore the critical question: How can the arts and humanities address its legacy of colonialism and center equity and representation?
- Co-Authored “Inclusion of children with disabilities in qualitative health research: A scoping review” in PlOS ONE.
- Presented “Interventions for Systemic Lupus Erythematosus for Thumb Carpometacarpal Joint Dysfunction: A Scoping Review” at the ASHT 2022 Annual Conference Clinical Poster Session.
- Presented the short course “Dynamic Stability Exercises for Management of Pain & Disability in Patients with Carpometacarpal Joint OA of the Thumb” at the 2022 New York State Occupational Therapy Association Annual (NYSOTA).
