Conversation with Carolyn LaHorgue (BS 2015)
Carolyn is a Project Manager at Omaze, an online sweepstakes platform dedicated to raising money for nonprofits, where she previously served in a Partnerships role. She joined Omaze after working in film acquisitions/sales at companies such as Miramax, ICM Partners, and The Weinstein Company.
Callie Klotz (BS 2017)
Callie is a Senior Associate at Global Health Strategies. She works to guide communications and advocacy strategies and ensure coverage of key global health issues on behalf of foundations, private sector companies and UN agencies. Previously, she worked on the communications team of a political consulting firm focusing on New York City and State campaigns.
Vijay S. Jodha (MA 1996)
Vijay is a writer, photographer and filmmaker based in New Delhi, India. He has produced five books and his work has received over seventy honors including 17 best film/director awards. His films have been shown on 75 channels worldwide including BBC, CNN and Discovery.
Janerick Holmes (BS 2011)
Janerick is the Racial Justice Institute Associate Director at the Shriver Center on Poverty Law. In this role he engages equal justice advocates across the country supporting the Racial Justice Institute Network, a movement of nearly 300 advocates applying a racial justice lens to their anti-poverty advocacy to fight systemic barriers to opportunity in communities of color.
Stephanie Llamas (MA 2013)
Stephanie is VP of Strategy for SuperData Research, a market insights firm specializing in digital video games and playable media. There she designs and oversees all research methods, which conducts more than 20 studies a year. Her MA thesis examined alternative media, video games, and community cohesion.
Xiaochang Li (PhD 2017)
Xiaochang is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication at Stanford University. Her teaching and research interests include the history of computing and information systems, AI and algorithmic culture, speech and language technology, and software/platform studies. Before joining Stanford, she was a postdoctoral fellow at the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science in Berlin.
Kacper Grzesiak (BS 2013)
Kacper is a founding Partner at joint venture tech investment vehicle inseed.vc, which he started with fellow INSEAD MBA classmates in 2018. As a tech entrepreneur practicing a non-linear career path, he has worked on a variety of projects. Amongst some — as Project Manager launching the InCredibles acceleration program in partnership with Google, and as Coordinator at Google For Startups managing two CEE All Stars fundraising conferences. Previously he co-founded the Wellbeing Network, a Satellite TV eCommerce platform in the European Health and Wellness sector.
Jess Matthews (MA 2014)
Jess was most recently the Mobilization Director for the Elizabeth Warren presidential campaign. Previously she worked as the Chief Content Officer for the City of New York; and a Social Media Strategist for The New York Times.
Dennis Golin (MA 2019)
Dennis is a video editor for MSNBC, cutting footage for much of their primetime programming. His master's thesis was on the subject of Public Access television in New York City and its intertwining with the local arts community. He is a native New Yorker and ridiculously proud of it.
