We encourage you to explore Childhood Education and Childhood Special Education (MA), Educational Leadership, Politics, and Advocacy (MA), Food Studies (MA), Learning Technology and Experience Design (MA), or Teaching Science: Transformational Teaching Grades 7–12, Initial Certification (MAT).

Prepare for an environmental career in a variety of fields with an emphasis on education and sustainability. This dynamic master of arts degree draws on social, philosophical, political, and educational perspectives on the environment, combining theory with practice to build on your knowledge of the role of education in solving environmental problems. The program has electives that allow candidates to capitalize on the interdisciplinary nature of conservation education and NYU as an institution. Students often take electives in other departments and schools at NYU, some of which include: food studies, international relations, animal studies, urban planning and much more.
