Olivia is a current sophomore majoring in Music Business at Steinhardt. She was born in New York City, but moved to Shanghai, China 18 years ago. In fact, her current dorm is only a five minute walk from the hospital she was born at. Growing up, Olivia picked up the violin at four years old, and ever since then, music has always been an indispensable part of her life. From performing at Carnegie Hall five years ago to attending the Taylor Swift Eras Tour in Japan in 2024, Olivia has devoted the majority of her free time to music and is hoping to continue to nurture her passion during her time at NYU. Olivia attended an international school all throughout her life, and cites this as one of the key reasons as to why she is passionate about creating a more diverse and inclusive community for all students. She is also passionate about certain social movements such as feminism, and is hoping to go to law school someday. Olivia also enjoys photography, reading, writing, watching broadway shows (Hamilton is at the top of her list), and exploring new restaurants as well as museums. Some of her favorite places so far in New York include The Met and Central Park. Olivia is looking forward to being a part of the IPAC team!
