For high school students interested in NYU CSD

Several events are available for students who are interested in coming to NYU and majoring in CSD. Each summer, Steinhardt offers sessions where you can talk with faculty in the department and get a tour of our facilities. In addition, each fall the school offers open house events where you can hear from current students and advisers from the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, watch a video of some of the unique opportunities available to you through the university, and listen to a special presentation about the CSD major. We also invite you to watch a virtual tour of the campus.

For information about applying to the CSD program and to request more info, visit the Office of Undergrad Admissions website.

For current NYU students interested in CSD

If you are currently an NYU student interested in declaring Communicative Sciences and Disorders as your major, we strongly recommend that you take CSCD-UE 17 Introduction to Communicative Science and Disorders prior to changing majors.  We also recommend that students have a 2.5 GPA or better prior to declaring the CSD major in order to make satisfactory academic progress within the program.

For further information on some of the great opportunities NYU CSD has to offer, please refer to the Overview page.
