Applied Psychology

Joseph Feola is a Licensed Professional Counselor (NJ) in his practice, Feola Counseling & Coaching LLC, a School Counselor at Stuyvesant High School in New York City Public Schools, and an Adjunct Instructor in the Department of Applied Psychology at New York University. He has experience in clinical mental health counseling, school counseling, and student affairs in higher education. He holds National Certified Counselor (NBCC) and Approved Clinical Supervisor (CCE) credentials. His prior education includes PhD coursework in counseling at Montclair State University, Educational Specialist and Master of Arts degrees in counseling services from Rider University, and a dual-major Bachelor of Arts degree in English and psychology from Rutgers University. He teaches coursework in the MA in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness, the MA in School Counseling, and the Post-Master's Advanced Certificate in LGBTQ+ Health, Education, and Social Service programs.
