Karly Rodriguez is a licensed mental health counselor, meditation practitioner, medical advocate and a mother working to parent for social justice. Karly was raised in Teaneck New Jersey in a Latinx and Jewish family. She is a proud alumni of the Master’s of Arts in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness program. Most of her clinical experience has been in college mental health. Karly provides support and education for the Hydrocephalus Association around the psychological impacts of living with a chronic illness. She also is the co-founder of a private practice called 'Our Kitchen Table', which provides mental health services that to Women of Color in NY. She is deeply inspired by movements for collective liberation, as she believes that oppression is at the root of our suffering. She utilizes mindfulness and indigenous focusing oriented therapy to support clients in reconnecting to their bodies, intuition, and community support.
