Jeanett Gonyon Pritchett currently works at Interlochen Arts Academy as an Academic and College Counselor. Prior to relocating to Michigan, she was a school counselor at Francis Lewis High School in Queens, NYC for 17 years. She received her B.S. in Elementary Education with a double concentration in Math and Science from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan. Jeanett also taught middle school math and science at Berkshire Middle School in Birmingham, MI. She has a Master of Arts degree in School Counseling from New York University. She has worked in nonprofit agencies, public and private schools throughout her career. Her specialty is in peer mediation and conflict resolution with an emphasis on self-advocacy and social-emotional regulation. Jeanett is also a certified meditation coach and yoga teacher.
