Lindsay Nahum

Dr. Nahum graduated with her doctorate in School-Clinical Child Psychology from Pace University. Prior to graduating, she completed a predoctoral internship at Mount Sinai Adolescent Health Center. In that setting, Dr. Nahum provided individual and group psychotherapy to adolescents, in addition to conducting comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations. This training experience also included evaluations and therapy for young parents and their infants and toddlers, as well as evaluating trandgender youth.

Dr. Nahum also completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Westchester Institute for Human Development with a focus on child welfare. Dr. Nahum worked with children, adolescents and families that were involved with the child welfare system, many who experienced trauma. A second aspect of the postdoctoral training was the completion of a LEND (Leadership and Education in Neurodevelopmental and related Disabilities) fellowship. Dr. Nahum conducted evaluations of very young children to determine whether they were on the Autism Spectrum and also contributed to research through the Upstate Kids research project.

After completion of her postdoctoral training, Dr. Nahum began working as a school psychologist where she services students from preschool through graduation from high school. She is also a licensed psychologist.
