Kaushik graduated with degrees in Engineering from IIT Madras in 2013, following which he worked as the Lead Data Scientist at m.Paani, a social start-up that built India's first mass-market loyalty program. During his time in the Applied Statistics for Social Science Research program, Kaushik was a fellow in the Data Science for Social Good program and started working with Data Clinic. Here, he is involved in building open-source tools to make data and insights more accessible and also helping NGOs with their Data Science needs. Outside of work, Kaushik tries to take forward projects he started during the A3SR program.
