Where were you born/where did you grow up?
Spanish Harlem, New York City

Where you attended undergrad/grad school?
I received my BS in Psychology from Mercy College and my MA in Higher Education Administration from Stony Brook University. 

What's your go-to snack? 
Popcorn and/or Chocolate

What's your favorite book? 
The Hunger Games Trilogy

What's your favorite movie? 
Too many to pick one, but here are a few: Role Models, Scarface, Star Wars, Juno, Beverly Hills Cop, The lion King, etc. The Hunger Games 

What's your favorite music? 
I listen to a bit of everything, but my favorite Genres would be R&B (Alicia, Chris Brown, Mary J Blige, Summer Walker, Adele) and Rap (Wu-Tang Clan, Jay Z, Slick Rick). 

What do you do in your spare time?
I spend most of my spare time at basketball tournaments with my son, I enjoy watching basketball at all levels. However, I do enjoy going to see Broadway plays and going to the movies. I love to travel as often as I can and spend as much time outdoors as possible when the weather is nice. 

Coolest thing you've done/seen in NYC?
Surviving the Northeast blackout in 2003, which left most of NYC without power for two days. Having to drive from Yankee Stadium into Manhattan, without traffic lights, was both scary and exciting.  

Favorite spot in NYC?
Central Park 

One piece of advice you'd give to APUG students.
Push yourself outside of your comfort zone. Use your time at NYU to self-explore, meet new people and do new things. Focus on your studies, but remember to get involved on campus and have fun too! Everything in life is about having a balance.
