Student Testimonial

Amanda Gaupp

Studying abroad has taught me so much about myself as a student, future mental health professional, and person. I’ve had the opportunity to work directly with a cognitive researcher in his lab at a local university, gaining hands-on experience and even conducting my own research projects. I’ve also done lots of traveling. Ultimately, I am so thankful for how rewarding this experience has been and how much it has opened the door for me to get to know and connect with people from so many different places. If you’re thinking of studying abroad, do it to experience the food, the culture, the music, the history, the people, the lessons in and out of the classroom, and of course for the adventure!
