Adam Rokhsar is a musician, animator, and programmer from New York. He graduated from Cornell University and the University of Pennsylvania with a master's degree in psychology and then received his second master's degree in Music Technology from NYU Steinhardt. As an expert in the intersection of art, code, and product design, Adam consulted and built software for a wide range of successful companies, including Microsoft, Ableton, Converse, and Splice. He teaches art and programming to people of all ages, beginning from the elementary school level up through high school students, undergraduates and graduates, and professors at universities around the country. Adam currently teaches the art and science of creating computer music, as well as programming for art and music applications, in the Music Technology program at NYU. He works as a freelance animator, creating music videos for major label artists as well as independent creators.
