Christina Seowoo Lee (she/her) is a licensed psychologist who provides individual therapy for adolescents and adults, group therapy, and couples and family therapy. She completed her postdoctoral fellowship in DBT and has worked with diverse populations across the lifespan in outpatient, inpatient, school, community, correctional, and private practice settings. Christina specializes in the treatment of trauma, interpersonal difficulties, emotion dysregulation, and identity development. Her clinical approach tailors evidence-based interventions (e.g., DBT, CBT, ACT) to each individual's needs and sociocultural context. She believes that the relationship is at the heart of therapy, serving as both a catalyst for change and a space to practice new behaviors and ways of relating to others. She recognizes that each person's intersecting identities and lived experiences shape how they show up in therapy and supervision, and is committed to culturally responsive, anti-racist practice in both areas. Christina earned her BA from Wellesley College, EdM from Harvard University, and MPhil and PhD in Clinical/Counseling Psychology from NYU. She currently works as a staff psychologist at Maimonides Medical Center and maintains a small private practice in New York City.
