Melody is an educator with nearly a decade of experience working across various learning environments, including those utilizing dual-language immersion, experiential learning, and learner-centered models. She began her teaching career as a NYC Teaching Fellow, serving as a middle school teacher specializing in math and science. She earned her Master of Science in Education with a focus on Bilingual Education. Throughout her career, Melody has provided guidance to educators and school leaders in developing universal-design curriculum and learner-centered instructional practices grounded in culturally responsive education. Melody holds a Master of Public Administration from the NYU Wagner School of Public Service. As a graduate student, she contributed to climate justice initiatives at the United Nations Development Programme and Ramboll, identifying opportunities to foster inclusivity and equity within their programs.
