Summer Institute for Woodwind Studies

Spend a week in New York City studying, collaborating, and performing woodwind chamber music with students around the globe! NYU’s Summer Institute for Woodwind Studies allows its participants to fully matriculate as an NYU student for the week. Students will participate in masterclasses, panel discussions, large and small chamber music ensembles, including saxophone orchestra, and private lessons throughout the 7-day intensive. The program culminates with a concert series in serval of NYU’s state of the art performance venues including the historic Loewe Theater

Instruments Accepted: 
The Summer Institute for Woodwind Studies accepts students who study flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, saxophone, and horn.
