This multidisciplinary course uses Tel Aviv as a site for students from a variety of backgrounds to work together to learn about and develop assistive technology, as well as cultivate a better understanding of the people being served. Students will work in teams to identify clinical needs relevant to their chosen client and learn the process of developing an idea and following that through to the development of a prototype product.

PLEASE NOTE: Students are responsible for purchase of transportation and airfare to/from program location. All students participating in the program are required to live in NYU-provided housing. Students are responsible for their own accommodations for travel beyond the program dates.

Students are encouraged to budget for study abroad programs based on individual needs using available online resources. Tuition, Housing, and Activity fees will be due based on the Bursar's Payment Schedule for Spring 2020.

Students stay in shared-occupancy housing arranged by the Office of Global Affairs.

Travel, Visa, and Other Information:
Flight: Students book their own travel to coincide with program dates. Students should not purchase their plane before receiving proper instructions (which include suggested or requested flight itineraries) during the program's formal orientation class meeting as indicated in the sample syllabus.
Passport: All program participants are required to have a valid passport, which must be valid at least six months beyond the program end date.
