Undergraduate Semester Abroad

Study at NYU ABU DHABI

Along with several opportunities to complete psychology electives, NYU Abu Dhabi offers over 350 courses across 26 majors, allowing you to fulfill your Liberal Arts Core Curriculum and language requirements. The average class size is small, and students come from over 100 countries, which creates a rich intercultural experience. You are encouraged to study away in the fall or spring semester of your sophomore or junior year. While on campus, you can also participate in research through student assistantships and connect with a wide range of faculty laboratories. NYU Abu Dhabi has all the student clubs, sports, and volunteer opportunities of a four-year campus, along with a full roster of lectures, art exhibits, and cultural programming.

Study at NYU BERLIN

As you work toward completing your major requirements in the spring semester of your sophomore or junior year, you’ll have access to some psychology and global public health courses as well as coursework that fulfills the Liberal Arts Core requirements, like Cultures and Context, Text and Ideas, and Expressive Culture: Film in Berlin. You can also complete your language requirement through the required German language course. Additionally, the cocurricular and cultural activities at NYU Berlin provide ample opportunities to engage with the city’s culture, art, and history.

Our on-site staff will provide support for you during your time abroad. We’ll help you connect with your host culture throughout your stay with orientation, trips, student clubs, and language exchanges. Housing is guaranteed to all students and will vary by location.

We offer many core, liberal arts, and content elective courses abroad that allow you to explore your interests across continents and cultures.

You can also gain professional experience through part-time internship opportunities. Each global location has unique professional opportunities tailored to diverse student interests. You can participate in internships for credit or not for credit, depending on your needs.
