

Learn to make music business expansion plans for all sizes and types of music companies in a global context by applying market-trend data, sensitivity to local cultures, and knowledge of a wide range of music. Examine current global music management strategies through lectures by music industry leaders and NYU faculty as well as via exchange with overseas music business students. Participants will explore independent market research and matching music to new audiences.

January 3-21, 2022. The class meets on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 10:00 am- 12:00 pm, with the exception of the first Monday of class which meets from 3:00 - 5:00 pm. Note that all times are for the Eastern Time Zone:

NYU Steinhardt Graduate Study Tuition and Fees set for the 2021-2022 academic year.
Tuition, registration, and services fees will be due based on Bursar's Payment Schedule for the January term and will be charged as "Overseas" on your bursar bill, which signifies that the Office of Global Affairs administers it. These charges, however, will follow NYU Steinhardt's respective graduate tuition and other fees as any other in-person course for the 2021-2022 academic year.
