Spring 2020 marks the beginning of a new academic partnership between the Department of Applied Psychology and NYU Berlin. The partnership is the newest semester study abroad pathway at that School allowing undergraduates to take Steinhardt courses at NYU global sites. Berlin is an exciting addition to the many NYU Steinhardt pathways, offering students the opportunity to live and learn in a complex cosmopolitan city that plays a critical role in modern European history. Applied Psychology students now have the opportunity to choose from academic pathways in Sydney, Buenos Aires, and Berlin; rounding out a diverse set of options to complete courses in their major beyond Washington Square.
Applied Psychology students interested in studying at NYU Berlin are encouraged to take Social Psychology (PSYCH-UA.9032) during the spring of their sophomore year. Participants in the new course will study with international experts to better understand how other people influence our affects, cognitions, and behavior.
