Zezhen (Michael) Wu is a doctoral student in the Psychology and Social Intervention program at New York University. He earned his master's degrees in Arts in Education from Harvard University and Evidence-based Social Intervention from University of Oxford, and he holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China. His main research questions are: 1) How do children develop strategies, norms, and mindsets to cope with stress in low-resource settings under different cultures? 2) How could theory-driven brief interventions buffer learners against various situational and environmental threats, stigma, and discrimination? 3) How do we wisely design and implement these brief interventions to help children deal with developmental and contextual challenges?
