Research Description/Bio: Christine Park is a doctoral student and IES-PIRT fellow in the Psychology and Social Intervention program at NYU Steinhardt. Broadly speaking, her research interests lie at the intersection of social emotional learning (SEL) and culture/context. She is interested in developing equitable and culturally responsive/sustaining SEL interventions and programming for schools, with a particular interest in the role of adult SEL and social networks in intervention implementation and outcomes. Prior to joining the program, Christine worked as a research coordinator for Stephanie Jones on projects related to improving the implementation and accessibility of SEL programs in US-based elementary schools. She received a B.A. in Psychology from Boston College, and an M.Ed. in Human Development and Psychology from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
