Research Description/Bio: 

Anaga Ramachandran is a doctoral student in NYU Steinhardt's Psychology and Social Intervention program. Anaga is broadly interested in how we can use research to design, refine, implement, and evaluate programs to support early childhood development in low- and middle-income & conflict-affected countries. She is specifically interested in issues of program quality, workforce capacity-building, implementation, and scale. Anaga currently works for the Global TIES center at NYU Steinhardt on projects in the Jordan, Bangladesh, and India. Before coming to NYU, Anaga led the research team at Center for Learning Resources, India- an NGO that builds large-scale capacities of government systems to deliver effective early childhood and education services. She received her undergraduate and masters degree in Psychology from Madras University, India.
