Summer Piano Intensive

"Tasting Menu"

Piano Studies at NYU Steinhardt (Marilyn Nonken, Director) welcomes young pianists and their teachers to select from the choice offerings of our Summer 2021 “Tasting Menu.” Get a taste of what it’s like to be a part of our Piano Studies community! This summer’s menu includes a unique assortment of interactive online events: courses taught by our renowned Artist Faculty in their areas of specialization; streamed concert events featuring live chats with the performers; interdisciplinary sessions demonstrating the collaborative nature of study in Music and Performing Arts Professions; one-on-one gatherings with current students and faculty; opportunities to showcase your performances and receive feedback; and, for those interested in applying to NYU, informative sessions with admissions officers. Our “Tasting Menu” is designed for young artists and college-age students focused on pursuing performance careers, as well high school students preparing for conservatory auditions and competitions.

Two fee structures are available. Participants opting to take Private Lessons may select three lessons with any Artist Faculty members of their choice. No matter which fee structure you choose, you’ll be encouraged to mix and match, attending those events that most appeal to your aspirations.
