Research Interests: Infants' and toddlers' everyday math interactions
Principal Advisor(s): Dr.Catherine Tamis-Lemonda
Research Description/Bio:
My work focuses on infants' and toddlers' early language and math development in the context of their everyday interactions and family routines. I am especially interested in cultural and contextual considerations, including moving beyond mother-child dyads and culturally and linguistically dominant groups that remain the focus of most developmental research. Before starting at NYU, I managed a portfolio of grants to early childhood programs at a poverty-focused foundation. I also worked on research at the undergraduate level on early language and technology.
