Research Description/Bio: Hi, I'm Elisha! My academic journey began at the University of California, Riverside (UCR), where I earned a B.A. in Psychology. Following my undergraduate studies, I had the opportunity to work as a lab manager at UCR's CRM lab under Dr. Diamond Bravo. Now, I am embarking on an exciting chapter as I pursue a Ph.D. in developmental psychology, working under the guidance of Dr. Lauren Mims. My doctoral research is dedicated to identifying and promoting protective factors that empower Black youth and create nurturing environments for their growth and success.
