Where were you born/where did you grow up?
While I was born in Stamford, CT, I was raised in Wilton, CT.

Where you attended undergrad/grad school?
I attended Syracuse University for both my undergraduate and graduate degrees. I received my B.S. in Child and Family Studies with a minor in Disability Studies (’17) and my M.S. in Higher Postsecondary Education (’19).

What's your go-to snack?
Oh boy, this is tough. I love cucumbers, but I can never turn down pizza. And yes, pizza can be a snack.

What's your favorite book?
It is so hard to pick just one book! I would say that my favorite book series has to be Harry Potter, hands down. However, I have been reading lots of true crime novels lately…J.K. Rowling has some competition with Ann Rule.

What's your favorite movie and TV show?
You’d think my favorite movie would be one of the Harry Potters. However, my go-to movie is Legally Blonde…Reese Witherspoon can do no wrong. My favorite TV show is The Office, I can watch it a thousand times and still find it so amusing.

What's your favorite music?
I am not that picky when it comes to music. I grew up on classic rock (E.g. Aerosmith, ZZ Top, etc.) but nowadays, I listen to whatever sounds good for the moment!

What do you do in your spare time?
In my spare time, I listen to true crime podcasts such as My Favorite Murder and Wine and Crime. But I do love going on walking or driving adventures! You can’t get lost if you find a new way home.

One fact that most people don’t know about you…
I once fell asleep at an Aerosmith concert when I was 8 years old. Steven Tyler was singing “Dream On” and I guess I took him too literally.

Favorite spot in NYC?
Probably the Highline since the views are gorgeous. However, I am still new to the city so I am sure that will change!

One piece of advice you'd give to APUG students.
Don’t be afraid to get involved and try things outside of your comfort zone. Take advantage of everything that NYU and NYC have to offer…it truly will be a once in a lifetime experience for you.
