Summer Wildbill is a sophomore at NYU. Her work at the Research Alliance focuses on communicating findings and lessons from our studies to broad audiences and engaging diverse stakeholders in our research. She is also part of the team implementing our study, Beyond Access and Participation in CS for All: Measuring Equitable CS Learning Environments, where she plays a role in data collection, data analysis, and reporting results.
Summer is a member of NYU’s prestigious MLK Scholars program, a highly selective university leadership program dedicated to the legacy of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The program engages, educates, and empowers scholars on social justice and advocacy.
Summer has experience in public policy and community and youth engagement efforts. In 2023, she was invited to the 2023 White House Tribal Youth Forum, representing WeRNative.org.She has served on several indigenous youth councils, is knowledgeable about a wide variety of educational issues, and is deeply committed to addressing issues of inequity for minority students.
