Phil Kadet is a multi-talented musician based in New York City. He is a pianist, singer, arranger, music director, producer, conductor, and accompanist, working in many diverse genres of music, from rock and roll to opera. He is a regular solo entertainer, maintaining several weekly residencies in New York City. He is also a keyboardist for the New York rock band Escaper. Since 2013, he has been a collaborative pianist and guest artist with the Hawaii Performing Arts Festival, a world-class training and performance program on the Big Island of Hawaii. Since 2019 he has been the collaborative pianist and music director for Cantos Para Hermanar al Mundo, a concert series presented in Torreón, Coahuila, Mexico. He is a staff pianist for the voice program at NYU Steinhardt. While chiefly a pianist, he also enjoys playing guitar and cycling, at the same time.
