Dr. Paula Steisel Goldfarb is the Senior Associate Dean of MBA and Graduate Programs at the New York University Stern School of Business where she oversees Academic Affairs, Graduate Financial Aid, Program Assessment, and other special program initiatives. In Paula’s 20 years with NYU Stern, she has served in different capacities in marketing, recruiting, diversity initiatives, operations, admissions, academic advising, assessment, new program development, and financial aid. Prior to joining NYU Stern, she worked for several organizations including the Charles Bronfman Foundation.

Paula completed her Doctorate in Higher and Postsecondary Education at the New York University Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development, where her dissertation focused on women and graduate education. Paula received her Bachelor's degree from Haverford College in Psychology. She has also received a Master's degree in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University.

Paula’s research has been featured at academic and professional conferences and she was awarded the National Business Education Association’s Dissertation Award. She currently serves as a reviewer for academic journals. She has published several case studies on college students in the textbook, Linking Theory to Practice: Case Studies for Working with College Students.

Paula is an adjunct faculty member in the NYU Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development where she teaches several courses including Leadership in Higher Education, How Colleges Work, Colloquium in Workplace Education, and Designing and Managing Organizational Learning Programs.
