Dr. Petronzi is a licensed counseling psychologist. He been teaching psychology in higher education since 2009. Greg's clinical work experience and training includes schools, nursing homes, college counseling centers, outpatient mental health clinics and an APA accredited internship at the New York Harbor Healthcare VA Medical center where he worked specifically in PTSD, Substance Abuse Rehabilitation, Palliative Care, and Psychology Oncology units. Greg obtained his MA in Mental Health and Wellness at New York University's Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness program and completed his Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology at Seton Hall University. His research interests and publications explore the extent to which peoples’ dispositional characteristics predict their preferences for various psychotherapeutic orientations. Dr. Petronzi has been teaching at New York University since 2019 and maintains an outpatient counseling psychology practice in Manhattan, NY.
