Claire Menegus is a usability researcher fascinated by the intersection between user-centered design, cognitive science, and learning. At the Usability Lab, she leads a team of user researchers who collaborate with stakeholders from across the university in making user-centered decisions for NYU products and services. She received her M.A. in Learning Technology and Experience Design at NYU Steinhardt, where she is currently an adjunct professor in UX Design. Claire first started her career at NYU as a student UX Researcher, when she won a grant to perform user research on NYU's student information system. She later joined full-time as an Instructional Designer at NYU Steinhardt, assisting faculty members with curriculum design and online learning-related projects. Claire also worked as an Experience Designer at children's digital toy studio Toca Boca, where she was exposed to how children interact with technology to play and learn. In her free time, Claire loves cooking and doing anything outside.
